Dina Kyomuhendo: A Story of Tenacity in Promoting Orange Sweet Potato

More than 300,000 households in Uganda are growing orange sweet potato. Women across the country have been key to the adoption of this vitamin A-rich crop.

In the western district of Kibaale, one woman’s tenacity has ensured that children at the school where she works as a cook enjoy orange sweet potato in their diet each week.

Charles Musoke, from the HarvestPlus country office in Uganda, tells the story of Dina Kyomuhendo.
