More than 300,000 households in Uganda are growing orange sweet potato. Women across the country have been key to the adoption of this vitamin A-rich crop.

In the western district of Kibaale, one woman’s tenacity has ensured that children at the school where she works as a cook enjoy orange sweet potato in their diet each week.
