Biofortification to be Featured at Global Nutrition Conference in Granada
The IUNS 20th International Congress of Nutrition (ICN) takes place September 15 – 20, 2013 in Granada, Spain. The theme “Joining Cultures through Nutrition” will unite thousands of experts from around the world to address issues related to food, nutrition and public health.
The HarvestPlus Nutrition team will be participating in ICN. There will be a HarvestPlus booth with our latest publications and other materials. Our nutrition experts will also be on hand to answer any questions. In addition, HarvestPlus will be sponsoring a symposium on biofortification. The symposium will include presentations from experts in nutrition and public health as well as a post-presentation panel. Experts will share the latest findings on efficacy research on several nutrient-rich crops as well as their perspectives on the future of biofortification.
