Sylvia Magezi has been the Country Manager for the HarvestPlus Uganda since 2014. Prior to this, Sylvia worked with The Ssemwanga Centre where she coordinated monitoring and evaluation of nutrition activities for ACDI/VOCA’s HIV/AIDS food aid intervention. Before this, Sylvia worked as a nutrition consultant in UNICEF-Kampala, where she supported salt iodization and vitamin A supplementation, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health. Sylvia has also worked in food processing plants as a quality analyst of food products. Sylvia holds a master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition and a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, both from Makerere University, Kampala.
