Antoine Lubobo has been Country Manager for HarvestPlus in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) since 2011. Before joining HarvestPlus, he worked for several years with the National Institute of Agronomic Studies and Research (INERA) as a principal investigator (scientist) and bean program national coordinator, and for the University of Lubumbashi (UNILU) as Professor and Breeding Program Manager. Lubobo has also worked with World Vision and FAO in DRC as a consultant in charge of food and nutrition departments for more than five years. Lubobo holds a doctorate in Plant Breeding and Genetics, and a Master of Sciences (MSc) in plant pathology and crop protection from the University of Lubumbashi (UNILU), in DRC.
