The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC will host HarvestPlus founder and ambassador-at-large Dr. Howarth Bouis on June 19.
Dr. Bouis will present on biofortification, including: what lies ahead, how it complements other approaches to micronutrient deficiency, the role U.S. researchers and policymakers have played in achieving successes to date, and the challenges to scaling up across different countries, crops, and seed systems.
