Going the Last Mile: Accelerating Progress in Food Security and Nutrition
HarvestPlus is pleased to announce a special event that it will co-sponsor in Brussels, Belgium, on the eve of the European Development Days. The all-day workshop on June 14 will focus on translating investments into action, and will feature Howarth Bouis (HarvestPlus Director), Joseph Mulambu (Country Manager, HarvestPlus-Rwanda), and a representative of World Vision highlighting biofortification under the theme of scaling up technologies. Other sponsors of the event are the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation (CTA), the Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development of the European Commission (EC), and the EC’s Joint Research Centre (JRC).
